Rental Policy Agreement and Security Deposit Acknowledgement
This Rental Policy Agreement outlines the terms and conditions governing the rental of equipment from SDR Audio & CDJ, LLC. By signing a rental agreement with SDR Audio & CDJ, LLC, the renter agrees to the following policies and conditions.
1. Minimum Age Requirement
The individual signing the rental agreement must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of signing in order to rent equipment. Valid identification may be required to verify age.
2. Security Deposit Requirement
A security deposit of $500 is required for all rentals and must be paid in full upon approval of the rental agreement and prior to the release of any equipment. An additional payment invoice will be sent after reserving gear and gear will not subject to rental unless security deposit has been paid.
The deposit amount will be charged by credit card and placed on hold until after rented equipment is returned back to SDR Audio & CDJ, LLC. This security deposit will be added onto your total at checkout.
3. Rental Form Requirement
Any individual or business entity that does not have an active account with SDR Audio & CDJ LLC must complete the official Rental Form prior to renting any equipment.
Completion of the Rental Form is mandatory and no exceptions will be made.
4. Responsibility for Equipment Loss or Damage
The individual or business entity signing the rental agreement assumes full responsibility and liability for the rented equipment for the entire duration of the rental period, from the time the equipment leaves SDR Audio & CDJ LLC’s possession until it is returned and inspected.
This responsibility applies regardless of whether loss or damage is caused by the renter or any other individual or third party.
If equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged:
The renter agrees that loss and/or damage charges are separate from and in addition to rental charges.
Damage or replacement charges may exceed the total cost of the rental.
SDR Audio & CDJ LLC reserves the right to assess repair or replacement costs at its sole discretion.
The evaluation and valuation of damage may take up to five (5) business days following the return of the equipment.
The renter agrees to promptly pay all assessed loss or damage charges.
In the event of non-payment, the renter agrees to be responsible for all costs associated with collection of the debt, including but not limited to:
Collection agency fees
Reasonable attorney’s fees
Court costs and legal expenses
5. Event Location and Time Changes
If there are any changes to the event location or event time associated with the rental, the renter must obtain prior written approval from SDR Audio & CDJ LLC before implementing such changes.
The renter must promptly notify SDR Audio & CDJ LLC of any changes to the event location or rental time**.
Failure to notify SDR Audio & CDJ LLC or obtain prior approval for such changes may result in cancellation of the rental agreement or additional fees.
No exceptions will be made to this policy.
